Nintendo has announced that one of the most popular games in The Legend of Zelda series is coming to the Switch next week. Making the announcement on Twitter (https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/1494477084068098049?s=20&t=Md6eCJhi_Tc1yYFY8gXQXw), Nintendo stated that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask will be coming to the Switch as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
While it was announced for Switch in February alongside Banjo-Kazooi, the release date has just been confirmed by Nintendo. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask originally released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. A remake was also released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2015 which came with a few quality of life changes such as a more modern save system. However, the Switch is only getting the original N64 version without the modern tweaks.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask will release on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service on February 25th. Subscribers can immediately download and start playing the game then.
