Xbox Games Studios Publishing posted a strange Twitter post this weekend relating to the Fable series. The Twitter account posted two posts to the social media platform relating to Fable which sparked a lot of excitement. Sadly, Xbox has quickly posted another tweet to clear up the ‘confusion’.
The original tweet announced they were “excited to kick off something special tomorrow” and that they needed to “prepare the chickens”. It seemed to be related to Fable but then the Xbox Games Studios Publishing account clarified it definitely was.
Since then, the account has posted another update. The new Twitter post (https://twitter.com/XboxPublishing/status/1449902181751140352) states that there won’t be any “big game news” about Fable. Xbox has also deleted both of those suggestive tweets.
October 18th is the 16th anniversary of of the release for Fable: The Lost Chapters on Xbox which could be what the tweets was actually about.
