Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong has been delayed…. again

The development team for Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong has announced that the game has once again, been delayed. It was originally due for release this year but was pushed back to February and now, it’s been delayed again.  Developer Big Bad Wolf has explained the reason behind the decision.

Posting to Twitter, Big Bad Wolf revealed that the decision was made to “ensure the highest possible quality while retaining a healthy work-life balance” for the team. The pandemic did also delay progress slightly but the developer notes that the delay will all for “additional polish” and “extra time for QA”. Both of which are very good things.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong will now release on May 19th 2022 instead. Game delays might not be ideal but it’s good to see a developer who would rather delay a game than demand crunch time.
