Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was supposed to come out later this year, but Ubisoft has officially pushed it back to 2022. The announcement did not specify the exact reason for the delay, but stated that they are committed to delivering “a cutting-edge immersive experience” using current generation console technologies.
Ubisoft has announced that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will instead be released during the company’s fiscal year 2023-2024. This means it should be available between April 2023 and April 2024. The game was supposed to be released around the same time as Avatar: The Way of Water in theatres though this will no longer be the case.
This isn’t the only game that’s been pushed back. Ubisoft also confirms that a “smaller unannounced premium game” has been pushed back from 2022-2023 to 2023-2024. Ghost Recon Frontline, Splinter Cell VR, and two unannounced projects have also been cancelled by Ubisoft.
