The official twitter account for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has announced the release date for the upcoming game. However, developer Daedalic Entertainment has also confirmed that it will be coming to Nintendo Switch at a later date.
It states that “Gollum’s quest for his precious will begin” later this year when the game releases in September. Coincidently, the new game will release just one day before Amazon’s Lord of the Rings TV show does. The Rings of Power will premiere on Prime Video on September 2nd which is also the anniversary of J.R.R. Tolkien’s death.
Gollum's quest for his precious will begin on September 1, 2022!
