Announced during the THQ Nordic Showcase, the new SpongeBob SquarePants game stole the show. The announcement trailer included the famous SpongeBob cover of “Sweet Victory” with the characters playing along during parts of the trailer.
We didn’t get any additional information on the game outside of the trailer and the trailer description on YouTube. SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake follows Sponge Bob and Patrick as they somehow create portal to other universes and naturally, end up in trouble. There will be seven different universes to discover and 30 skins to obtain. The different scenarios they end up in are inspired by the show and we can expect to see some of our favourite characters to be in the game.
According to the Steam store page, this will be a 3D platformer. The trailer didn’t give too much away but THQ Nordic will have more information soon.
