Resident Evil Village will get another free DLC

The 2021 annual report from Capcom has just been published. The report looks back over the year and at the future of the company including what we can expect from some of their games. This one reveals that Resident Evil Village will be getting another free DLC very soon.

In the “Creative Report” section of the Capcom report (, it mentions that Resident Evil Village with be getting a “free additional DLC”. The game has received several free DLC packs already with charms for weapons but Capcom has also confirmed a story based DLC is in development.

Capcom hasn’t confirmed what the free DLC will be though a small DLC pack seems most likely considering the current trend for the series. The remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 both received various small free DLC packs too. Hopefully Capcom will be revealing the new DLC soon.
