During the September Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that a Nintendo 64 controller is coming for the Nintendo Switch. The company also announced a Sega Mega Drive controller for Nintendo Switch is launching at the same time. Nintendo is releasing the two controllers alongside the release of some Nintendo 64 games to the Switch.
Nintendo posted to Twitter about the upcoming release of both retro controllers for Switch. The Nintendo 64 controller will cost $49.99 at launch and pricing for other regions is still a little uncertain. Nintendo also confirmed on Twitter that more news will be coming at a later date.

The Nintendo 64 games coming to Nintendo Switch will release late October and the controller is expected to release around the same time. Only Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be able to purchase the controller .
