Christina-Marie Drake McBearty announced on LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/posts/activity-6921940505815633920-VAJj/?utm_source=linkedin_share&utm_medium) that she had joined Naughty Doh as a primary recruiter for the company. This means she will be “helping to staff a variety of roles” but the the “main focus” will be on the “creative roles” within the company.
As part of her announcement, McBearty confirms that she will be working to build “future teams for not only new titles but for the legacy of Uncharted”. It’s not clear what she means by this but Naughty Dog has commented in the past that they aren’t rejecting the possibility of creating Uncharted 5. It’s also possible that “legacy of Uncharted” refers to the history of the series or the 2017 spin-off called The Lost Legacy.
Naughty Dog doesn’t seem to be focusing on Uncharted games at the moment but it’s possible the company is already making some potential plans for the future. For now, the company is busy working on the multiplayer expansion for The Last of Us 2 and the remake for the original game.
