EA, Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm have jointly announced three new project set in the Star Wars universe. There are no real details yet about the new games but we do know the genres at least. Two of these games are brand new projects while one of them is a sequel to the 2019 Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.
The second project is a FPS being led by Peter Hirschmann from Respawn Entertainment. The project is a brand new game set in the Star Wars universe. We don’t know anything more about this title yet.
A new Star Wars strategy game is also coming from Respawn Entertainment. While this is a new genre for the developer, they’ll be partnering with Bit Reactor which is composed of ex-Firaxis developers. Firaxis being the company behind the Civilization series, XCOM games and currently working on Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
EA has begun work on all three games but there’s no development timeline for them.
