Retro Review Metroid (1986)

Metroid 1986 on NES in 2021 // Retro Games Review

The original Metroid 1, on the NES from 1986, in 2021. This is our Retro Games and Gameplay review of the very first Metroid game on the original Nintendo Entertainment System.

The original metroid isn’t a game to enter lightheartedly, and certainly isn’t a retro game for the casual gamer. As with most games of the NES era, Metroid is a very hard game to play, compete with and control. For sure this is a really rewarding game to grind at, but as far as retro games go, this is a tough one to pick up and play. Really for the die-hard Metroid and metroidvania fans only.
