Oculus has announced that GTA: San Andreas is coming to their VR headset the Oculus Quest 2 in the near future. Players will be able to immerse themselves in one of the most iconic open world games in gaming using VR for the first time. While this project has been years in the making, it’s just being announced now. It’s unclear what version of the game is coming to the Oculus Quest 2. GTA San Andreas was recently re-released in the GTA: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition collection with graphical improvements and modern controls.
The announcement was made at Connect 2021, an event specifically for VR gaming. Facebook Connect 2021 took placed on October 28th 2021 this year.
No release date or period has been provided yet by Oculus and we can expect more news to come in the future about the VR release.
