There have been rumours of a Grand Theft Auto remastered trilogy, but it has finally been confirmed with a new rating listing. The official Korean ratings website now lists a new Grand Theft Auto game bundle. While no platforms are listed, Kotaku reports that it will be released on the Nintendo Switch.
According to the Kotaku report (https://kotaku.com/the-gta-remastered-trilogy-appears-to-be-real-and-comi-1847474620), reliable sources claim that Rockstar is actively working on remasters for Grand Theft Auto. These sources state that three games are being remastered using the Unreal Engine, with a mix of old and new graphics to maintain the classic style.
This reported Grand Theft Auto Trilogy will include:
- Grand Theft Auto III
- Grand Theft Auto Vice City
- Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
According to Kotaku sources, the remastered trilogy will now be released in October. Considering the Tokyo Game Show 2021 is just around the corner, we might see them being announced very soon.
