After months of rumours and the Korean rating drop, Rockstar Games has finally announced the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. It’s a bit of a mouthful but Rockstar has finally confirmed the new game bundle. However, no one expected Rockstar to remove existing version of the game from digital stores.
The new release bundle will contain:
- Grand Theft Auto III
- Vice City
- San Andreas
At the same time, Rockstar has announced that the existing versions of these three games will also be removed from digital storefronts next week. This means they will not longer be available to buy from online stores such as Steam. Players will need to buy the upcoming Definitve Edition versions instead.
Rockstar has not confirmed when the updated games will be released and has not commented on if the games will only be available as a bundle or can be bought separately. However, Rockstar did announce the gams will be coming to iOS and Android in the first half of 2022.
