Dragon’s Dogma 2 Announced

Dragon’s Dogma will be followed by a sequel, according to Capcom. A sequel had long been suspected and rumoured, but Capcom has now confirmed Dragon’s Dogma 2. The publisher recently held a celebration stream (https://youtu.be/lEVyli8ssRE) for the original game’s tenth anniversary, during which it confirmed a sequel is in the works.

During the celebration stream, Hideaki Itsuno, the games director, revealed that Dragon’s Dogma 2 is in the works. He claims that “everyone on the development team is working very hard” on the new game. Itsuno also apologises for keeping fans in suspense about the sequel. The sequel has received little attention, but we do know that it will use the same engine as Resident Evil Village.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was one of the unannounced games included in the infamous Nvidia GeForce Now leak. Many of the games listed in the leak have also been officially announced already.
