Call Of Duty: Vanguard Official Trailer

Call of Duty’s Latest Vanguard Instalment Revealed

Through an unveiled trailer released by Activision, the latest upcoming Call of Duty title codenamed Vanguard is here.

Fans of the Call of Duty franchise will be taken back to the WWII era, as suggested by the teaser trailer. And yes, this might mean we will get an integrated Call of Duty: Warzone component set in the WWII era as well.

WWII is a popular setting for the shooter genre; and it is not an unfamiliar setting for a Call of Duty game, so this comes as no surprise that Vanguard is set in such an era. However, coming so soon after CoD: WWII, fans are expecting some major ‘DNA’ changes over previous WWII era titles from the franchise, and this one could feature some major structural changes or reboots that the franchise so desperately deserves.

But probably the most important area of speculation right now is how will this effect Call of Duty: Warzone? Will fans have a dedicated WWII-era version of the popular online battle-royale? We have seen in previous installments of the franchise that Cold War and Modern Warfare era gear combined and meshed very well in the battle royale arena – but can we really see the same for WWII era weapons?

This is all something we can only speculate at the moment – but Activision will have us all in the loop as of August 19; when the official unveiling for the franchise’s latest instalment occurs. Let’s see how much different this game truly is as opposed to previous WWII instalments of CoD, and how much ‘DNA’ has been taken over from previous titles.
