The Dawn of Ragnarok expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is launching March 10th and Ubisoft is celebrating the occasion with a free trial in hopes of gaining new Viking assassin’s. Posting to the official Assassin’s Creed account, the team confirms the launch plans for the new expansion.

On February 22, the massive 1.5.0 update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released and two days later there will be a free weekend event. Anyone will be able to download and explore the world of the latest Assassin’s Creed game. Progress from the free trial is expected to be carried forwards if the player ever decides to purchase the full game in the future. However, Ubisoft will confirm this later ahead of the trial.
The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla free weekend will begin on February 24th which is this coming Thursday. It will end on February 28th, four days later.
