Xbox website gets a new makeover to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Xbox

The Xbox website has been given a new makeover to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Xbox brand by returning to its roots. First, Microsoft gave the website an Xbox 360 style makeover and now it’s been replaced with an original Xbox theme. The front page now features the original Xbox logo and styles.

This is part of Microsoft’s ongoing celebration of the 20th anniversary for the original Xbox. Both the original console and Halo: Combat Evolved launched together on November 15th in 2001. Naturally, there will be a special livestream on that day to celebrate the milestone but Microsoft has already confirmed there will not be any new game announcements being made.

In addition to the website makeover, Microsoft is releasing a specially themed Xbox controller and headset along with a Halo branded Xbox Series X console. Other announcements may come over the next few days.
